What is an electronic invoice?
It is simply an electronic document (in the event of the invoice issued by SERVISA TARJETAS SA being a pdf file) with the same contents as the paper invoice to which a digital signature is added, based on a certificate acknowledged by Directive 1999/93/EC of the European Parliament. |

Is it possible to modify an electronic invoice?
No, the electronic invoice has a digital signature that guarantees the document has not been modified and also enables you to check the identity of the party issuing the invoice, so in the event it is modified in any way, the signature will not be valid and neither will the invoice. |

How can I check the validity of the electronic invoice?
This is very easy, just open the document with the Adobe Reader® programme and check that the following image is displayed: 
With the following text: Valid signature Digitally signed by: Factura Electronica Servisa Tarjetas SA. If the following image appears, 
Please tell the Adobe Reader® programme to search in the Windows certificates file. If the following image appears, 
The electronic invoice IS NOT VALID and therefore cannot be considered an invoice. Please contact SERVISA so that it can resend a new file, as this one has been altered. |

How can I make a photocopy of the invoice and send it to my accountant?
Copy the electronic invoice onto your hard disk as many times as you want, remember that invoices are identified by their date, number, issuer, … and all these data are identical in each copy, and identify one invoice. |

Can I store the electronic invoice on paper?
No, printing out an electronic invoice for legal purposes is considered as making a copy, you must store the file, which will be the only valid legal document with respect to third parties. |

Can I see a copy of the SERVICA TARJETAS electronic invoice?
Yes, but remember that to validate the signature you must tell the Adobe Reader® programme to search in the Windows certificates file first |

Will I still receive the SERVISA TARJETAS invoice statement in Excel and/or Text format with the electronic invoice?
Yes, the electronic invoice is compatible with the operations statement in Excel and/or Text format, and you will first of all receive the electronic invoice and then the statement, in a separate message, as up to now. |

Can I receive another copy of the Invoice on paper?
Yes, if you notify SERVISA using the same method you used to request it and you will receive the printed invoices again. |

Will I also receive electronic invoices for other international cards requested from SERVISA ?
No, you will continue to receive invoices issued by other entities such as UNION TANK, AUTOESTRADE …, on paper, until the different issuers of these invoices have implemented this solution, You will only receive the electronic invoice from the following payment means, SERVISA, SERVISA AUTOPISTAS, SERVISA BONIFICADO, VIA-T and VIAVERDE. |
